I love cats and their hijinx. Rags is no exception. Reading about all the things he gets into is fun and getting to see the characters develop make this entire series amazing. A wonderful cozy series for anyone who enjoys reading about small town life, mystery, and of course cats. A must read series.
I just love to read about the Ivey family and their assorted relatives and friends. This is another example of a murder mystery novel that holds the reader's attention without having cursing or sex scenes. Ms. Frye has given us a series that keeps me coming back for more.
As on previous books in the series, I loved it. The author uses her knowledge of cats convincingly, there is humor, a good cast of characters and enough variety on this series that you don't get that dreaded " cookie-cutter" feeling about her writing. It is light reading but sometimes that is just what one wants to read so sit back and enjoy!
Another interesting story.
Though, I will admit that the killer was pretty obvious, almost from the outset. And the solution to another mystery was also pretty obvious. Alas, not as suspenseful as the first few stories.
More new people introduced, some of whom we can expect to see again.

This is the first time that I had read any of Patricia Fry books and I'm glad I chose this series. This is more like the Braun Who series of Koko and Yum Yum. These cats don't talk and only one cat helps solve the mystery. These books are both mystery and humor. I bought all six books and I hope she writes more of this series.
Actually Rags is only part of the story this time. The story is more about their new child and the familial relationships between father, mother and daughter. However; entwined in this book are three murders, one stalking and an interesting new sideline for Savannah. There are some scary situations and Michael almost gets killed, but this seems to be a much lighter version of this cozy family mystery series.
This cozy cat mystery receives 5 stars for all the excellent information on care of cats and family. The mystery will keep your interest. Rags, the Klepto cat is being film for a documentary on his help in solving crimes. A member of film crew is found MURDER. At the library in a "Secret Garden" there are stairs that go nowhere. The wall is open. These different subplots are brought together.
Rags finds clues that that lead to answers. I would recommend this book to animal lovers any one wanting light relaxing read.
